Short Term Internship Opportunities
MNA continues to reach out to those affected by Hurricane Katrina through local churches at various sites along the gulf coast region. This work primarily involves construction work that is open to both skilled and non-skilled volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, Christian ministry whose purpose is to build homes and communities in partnership with low-income families in communities across North America. A growing number of PCA churches are working with Habitat for Humanity as a means of outreach and ministry among people in lower income communities. MNA encourages PCA churches to explore this opportunity for community involvement. Click here for more information.
MNA helps to resource mercy ministries established through local churches. This work varies at each location and is open to all ages.
MNA reaches out to Native Americans by partnering with Pacific Northwest Presbytery and Sacred Road Ministries in the Yakama WA area.
MNA has an emphasis on church planting across the continent. Teams are needed to do a variety of work such as VBS, mercy ministry outreach projects, sports camps, music camps, and neighborhood canvassing projects. Current church plants with short term mission opportunities include, but are not limited to the following:
In partnership with PCA churches and other organizations and ministries, MNA is pleased to offer information concerning possible ministry internships. These internships vary in scope of work as well as length of service, with most being one- to two-year committments.
MNA and Ridgehaven Conference and Retreat Center partner to provide mission projects that are US-based for individuals, churches, presbyteries, Men of the Covenant groups, WIC groups, Sunday School classes, youth groups, RUF, and other campus groups.
Recognizing that retirement is not in the Bible, MNA offers those individuals who have retired from their first career an opportunity to ‘keep on keeping on’ by becoming Second Career Missionaries. Opportunities are varied both in work and location based on the passion, talents, skills, experience, and desires of the individuals. MNA Short Term Missions arranges vision trips to strategic locations in North America, including Canada and areas of the Caribbean.
