MNA Disaster Response is closely monitoring the fluid situation with Hurricane Earl. The presbyteries and churches in the areas that could be affected have been contacted in order to facilitate preparation. Please pray that this storm will pass on by!

Work with First Presbyterian Church and Second Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City MS as they facilitate rebuilding and restoration of houses damaged or destroyed by the F4 tornado that tore through Mississippi from the River to the Alabama line on April 24, 2010. Click here for details.

Training for Church Deacons

Personnel are available to train your deacons in mercy ministry. Issues covered include dealing with walk-ins; setting priorities for whom to help; setting policies guiding deacons in helping those in need; establishing databases, networks, and food pantries; and delegating deacons and teams to help individuals and families.
